The Secret of Sri Yantra

Yantra can simply be described as divine geometry. There are many types of yantras. Sri Yantra is the most powerful yantra. It's also known as Sri Chakra.

Since time immemorial, this symbol has been revered in India in a specific way. This symbol is both a symbol for the Universe and its cause Online Puja Services Usa.





Sir John Woodroffe (1865-1936), in his book Shakti and Shakta, has described it in detail:

It is made up of two sets. The first set includes four Shiva triangles (or male Shiva triangles) called Shrikanthas, which denote four aspects of evolved Consciousness-Power. The five Shakti triangles, or female Shakti triangles, denote the five vital functions and five senses, as well as the five senses and five senses, as well the five senses and five senses, and the five gross and subtle forms of matter.


To show the union between Shiva and Shakti, these two sets of triangles have been superimposed. They form the figure inside the eight lotus petals of the full Yantra because they are so combined. It is not advisable to hang the Sri Yantra on a wall. It should be worshipped every day with offerings and kept horizontally or flat to the ground. It should not be drawn on the ground, wall or plank.


There is an exact way to draw the Yantra in the right proportions.

As a talisman, Sri Chakra can be drawn on a plate or foil of gold, silver or copper.

Sri Chakra is open to worship by all, regardless of caste, creed, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, or gender, rich or poor, educated or not, or any other religious beliefs.

Sri Yantra worship promises wealth, health, and salvation.


Srichakra may be found in any state of India: Assam, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh. Kerala, Karnataka. Madya Pradesh. Pondicherry. Tamilnadu. Uttar Pradesh.

Swami Pranavananda visited nearly all of the Sri Yantra installations. In his book, 'A Treatise On Sricakra', he has detailed information about one hundred and eighty locations.

It is fascinating to see that Sankara, the great master of advaita, visited Kashmir and built a temple on a hillock. After he installed one Srichakra, the capital of Kashmir was renamed Srinagara.
